The Second Annual Vancouver Music Industry (VMI) Gala and Golf Tournament was a HUGE SUCCESS!!!! The event was highlighted by a fundraising gala with net proceeds donated to the Sarah Mclachlan Outreach Program (see www.smmo.com). It also marked the premier of the first "Bruce Allen/Sam Feldman Award for Lifetime Achievement" honouring Vancouver legendary Producer, the late Bruce Fairbairn. The inaugural award was presented by multi
 platinum songwriter Jim Vallance to Mike Fraser on behalf of the Fairbairn family.
