Crank It Up by The Young Goulets is the song that the NFL put their faith in to get football fans everywhere excited about Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network. The song was written by Mike, Troy and Vince DiGiorgio and produced by Hipjoint.

Kreesha Turner was first discovered by Mike and Troy at Edmonton’s annual talent competition 91.7 FMs The Bounce Showdown. She won the competition and the chance to work with Hipjoint. Bounce With Me written and produced by Troy and Mike was included on Kreesha Turner‘s international debut album Passion (Virgin/EMI USA) 2008.  The song has had dozens of placements in TV and Film and was also featured (along with Kreesha) in a Nestle Kit-Kat commercial.  Bounce With Me is also the winner of the Canadian Radio Music Award for Best New Group/Solo Artist (Dance/Urban/Rhythmic) for 2009.

Shiloh – Operator (A Girl Like Me)

Shiloh’s 2009 debut album Picture Imperfect entered the Neilsen/SoundScan album sales chart at #9 – the highest entry for a debut Canadian album of 2009! Hipjoint’s Mike James and Troy Samson, who discovered Shiloh when she was just 13, contributed as writers and producers on over half the songs on the record including the hit Operator (A Girl Like Me)which achieved Platinum sales in Canada.

Dust In Gravity – Delerium Featuring Kreesha Turner

Co-written with Delerium, Kreesha Turner and fellow Hipjoint writer Stef Lang. The song enjoyed a spot at the top of Billboard’s Best of 2010 in the Club/Dance category with a version remixed by Sultan & Ned Sheppard. The song is included on Delerium’s Remixed collection and an acoustic version was included on Delerium’s Voice album. Here is the original:

Mr. Immature – Stef Lang

Mr. Immature was written with Stef Lang for her 2010 debut album The Underdog. The single enjoyed heavy radio play nationwide, was nominated for TWO Canadian Radio Music Awards in 2010 and sales of the single are approaching the 20,000 mark on iTunes!

In 2009 Stef entered a publishing agreement with H-Songs/Nettwerk One Music and in 2010 Stef recorded her debut album The Underdog at Hipjoint. The album includes co-writes with Hawksley Workman, Rob Wells and Hipjoint‘s Mike James, Troy Samson and Phil Lehmann.

Her songs have been included in Episodes of the ABC network program Copper as well as Canadian favorite Degrassi and many others.

Not only has it opened doors to the many artists under the Nettwerk umbrella, but also creates many licensing opportunities for film and television placements.
