Winner of the 2008 Bounce Showdown, 19-year-old Quanteisha has been quickly turning out the hits. She has released several singles to date including Cover Girls, Get Loose, Someday and D’n’G, which are available worldwide via the Hipjoint Music/Universal label.
Quanteisha’s Get Loose (Hipjoint Remix) was featured in the 7th installment of the American Pie film series American Pie 7: The Book of Love. The placement caused a surge of sales, views and reposts of the song on YouTube (over half a million views and counting!) from all over the world. In 2011 at the 40th Anniversary Juno Awards in Toronto Quanteisha won the Juno for Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for her song Stars (written with Tanjola Entertainment) beating out established artists Keshia Chante, Karl Wolf and Silver.
